Mads Klinge and Patrick Bujok are new members of the 1st Mile application writing team.
Mads participates at all stages of application writing with a specific focus on business development and project management. Prior to working here, Mads has experience working with funding applications from the Danish Agriculture and Food Council and previously worked at the Danish Trade Council in Rome where he developed business strategies and provided market access for Danish companies entering the Italian market. Mads holds an MA in Italian Languages and Culture and a Diploma in Business Administration.
Patrick comes with a combined engineering and business development background and has a specific focus on the technological and financial aspects of application writing. Patrick has experience working with renewable energy technologies, systems and strategies in Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland. As a project engineer, systems engineering specialist, and advisor, he led and participated in projects on Power-to-X, solar photovoltaic, hydroelectric power, district heating, geothermal energy, and energy efficiency in buildings. Patrick holds an MA in Science in Technology-Based Business Development from Aarhus University and a BA in Engineering in Renewable Energy from the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne.
