Two new successful EUDP applications

In December 2021, EUDP announced the grant recipients from the autumn call 2021, and 1st Mile is proud that we have helped two of our clients win more than DKK 30 million in this call.

The winning applications are:

  • Estech: DKK 20.6 million
  • Claviate: DKK 9.8 million

Estech’s new technology combines carbon capture and parallel production of hydrogen – it merges two operations into one combined and cost-efficient process using only green electricity. The produced hydrogen is of commercial quality and can be converted to other energy forms (Power-to-X) or used directly.

Claviate makes wind energy cheaper by using fully AI-powered cameras to monitor and identify optimization potential in wind turbine installation processes while ensuring GDPR compliance. This project will be carried out in collaboration with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and focus on complex onshore installations.

The EUDP is a funding scheme under the Danish Energy Agency (Energistyrelsen) through which the Agency aims to promote efficient use of energy and support Denmark’s path towards becoming fossil fuel-free by 2050. Thus, the EUDP provides grants for various projects that contribute to the Danish energy industry’s growth and employment. To read the official press release please click here (only in Danish).
