Photos and slides from 1st Mile networking event May 8th, 2026

1st Mile invited customers, stakeholders and other friends for an afternoon with exciting new development projects, networking, Gamma beers, champagne, and finger food. About 100 people, all personally invited, made it an unforgettable event for us at 1st Mile. Our mission is to bring innovations to life, and bringing key industry stakeholders together and facilitate networking is a true pleasure for us.

1st Mile is Denmark’s most successful fundraiser in Denmark when it comes to innovation within energy and sustainability. The past two years we have raised more than DKK 300 million from Danish and European funding programs.

See the presentations from the day here.

Below the pictures is the program for the day. Slides from the day will follow shortly.

Program for the day

The global energy system is in a state of simultaneous stress and transformation. Technological breakthroughs in storage, grid flexibility, low-carbon fuels, digital optimization, and system integration are critical to building an energy system that is not only cleaner, but also more resilient, adaptable, and secure in an increasingly uncertain world.

The role of 1st Mile is to catalyze such technological breakthroughs by securing the needed capital to develop and innovate.
