To ensure that you get an effective project start-up after the grant there are a number of things that you need to take care of.
Depending on the funding program you must take care of the following:
- First and foremost, you must study your letter of grant and be aware of any specific project matters
- Read the general conditions of the program, as is may set forward demands on how to calculate salaries, how to report, how to manage intellectual property, etc.
- Sign and return the acceptance form or contract. Typically, this should be done within one month after the grant
- Start the process of preparing a consortium agreement between all the project partners. This agreement covers the internal obligations between the project partners on both economy and IPR.
1st Mile offers to help your project getting started after your project has received government funding. We often manage the start-up phase in 3 weeks in stead of 3 months.
